This cuvée is a true classic of the domain. The wine is made from 100% Gamay grapes. The grapes come from vines planted more than 30 years ago by Claire's grandfather. He had a great passion for this grape. For him, Gamay was the grape of pleasure and togetherness.

In the vineyard, everything revolves around ripe and healthy grapes. In the cellar, the wine is made to keep the fruit central. It is a juicy and accessible red wine. The taste is reminiscent of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries. The wine is smooth and vibrant. A wine made to be shared and enjoyed during good moments.

Winemaker Claire Dufau

Background Domaine de Maouries, located in Southwest France, encompasses 26 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 180 to 220 meters. Claire Dufau leads the family business with dedication to traditional viticulture and respect for nature. The vineyards benefit from clay and limestone soils and a moderate climate, ideal for grape varieties such as Tannat, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Manseng. Domaine de Maouries now produces unique and beautiful wines in the Sud-Ouest.

Vineyards Claire's organic vineyards (and HVE) are located around their farm in the rolling landscape of Saint Mont and Madiran. The vineyards have clay and slate soil and are situated at an altitude of 180 to 220 meters above sea level. The vineyards in Saint Mont face south. The vines for this wine were planted in the 1990s.
