Background Casa da Tojeira is a beautiful 17th-century country house, located in the breathtaking Peneda-Gerês National Park. Since its establishment, grape cultivation for the production of delicious wines has taken place here. Today, Casa da Tojeira focuses on producing exclusive Vinho Verdes, including a delightful barrel-aged white Vinho Verde and enticing red variations. The house also serves as a picturesque event venue and boutique hotel.
Vineyards Conventional vineyards located inland in Portugal at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. The vineyards are partly on a granite soil with sand.
Harvest Manual
Vinification After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and the good grapes are selected. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature for 15 to 20 days. The wine is made entirely with its own yeasts.
