Background Casa da Tojeira is a beautiful 17th-century country house, located in the breathtaking Peneda-Gerês National Park. Since the establishment of the house, there has been viticulture for the production of delicious wines. Today, Casa da Tojeira focuses on the production of exclusive Vinho Verdes, including a delightful barrel-aged white Vinho Verde and enticing red varieties. The house also serves as a picturesque event venue and boutique hotel.
Vineyards Conventional vineyards located inland in Portugal at an altitude of 250 - 350 meters above sea level in the rolling landscape. The vineyards have a soil of schist with clay.
Harvest Manual
Vinification The grapes are hand-picked and ferment at a low temperature. Before the fermentation ends, the wine is bottled, creating a natural pressure in the bottle.
