Altitude 310 metres above sea level
Vineyards Organic (in conversion) and planted in 2012. Torre de Palma collaborates with WASP. This is the Wines of Alentejo Sustainable Program. Through this program, winemakers work together to preserve the Alentejo wine region, which suffers from rural-to-urban migration. Additionally, winemakers aim to operate as sustainably as possible.
Harvest Manual
Vinification After harvest, the grapes are kept in a cold room at 3 degrees Celsius for 24 hours. After this, the grapes are selected, followed by gentle pressing. The grape juice ferments in French oak. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in wood for six months.
