Background Quinta do Perdigão is a small, family-owned quinta with only 8 hectares of organic vineyards. Quinta do Perdigão, a name synonymous with excellence and tradition, is located in the beautiful Portuguese wine region of Dão. José initially managed the vineyard alongside his job as an architect. His daughter Mafalda elevated the wines to a higher level. It is the combination of hard work, passion, the granite soil beneath our feet, the sun that colors the grapes, and the Mediterranean breeze and rain that add aromas. All of this, together with the loving hands that harvest the grapes, ensures that their wines reveal emotions and magic when drunk. 

Vineyards The vineyards were planted in 1997 and are organic. They are hidden among the forests of tall trees often found in the region. This gives the vineyard a unique microclimate.
