Winemakers Valentine & Charlotte Picant with the help of Derenoncourt Consultants

Background Yves (Valentine and Charlotte's father) bought the house and land in 1986 as a country retreat. He saw potential in the region and the soil and wanted to showcase the new face of Bordeaux. Modern, dynamic and accessible became the spearheads. Gastronomic wines with an eye for sustainability led them to their success.

Vineyard Valentine and Claire's organic vineyards are located in the easternmost part of Bordeaux. The vineyards are sheltered among the forests, where wildlife and nature can thrive undisturbed. The soil consists of clay combined with slate. The vineyards are located in a 'valley', from 50 to 150 meters above sea level. The vines for this wine are 20 - 25 years old, planted from the year 2000.

Vinification The grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. After this, the wine matures for six to seven months in new wood.
