Winemaker Duarte de Deus
Background Torre de Palma is located in the north of Alentejo, in Monforte. The winery combines traditional viticulture with modern techniques, producing wines that accurately reflect the local terroir. The special microclimate and the work of winemaker Duarte de Deus result in wines with their own character. The wines of Torre de Palma are appreciated both in Portugal and abroad. Thanks to their high ambitions and quality, we enjoy working with them.
Altitude 310 meters above sea level
Vineyards Organic (in conversion) and planted in 2012. Torre de Palma works with WASP. This is the Wines of Alentejo Sustainable Program. With this program, winemakers work together to preserve the Alentejo wine region, which suffers from people migrating from the countryside to the city. In addition, the winemakers aim to work as sustainably as possible.
