This unique wine from Alentejo is Torre de Palma's white prestige cuvée. The image on the bottle depicts the Rebelo family pressing grapes. They revitalized the winery in 2010. This is their finest white wine, crafted by Duarte Deus. A truly unique wine.

Winemaker Duarte de Deus

Background Torre de Palma is located in the north of Alentejo, in Monforte. The winery combines traditional viticulture with modern techniques, producing wines that accurately reflect the local terroir. The unique microclimate and the work of winemaker Duarte de Deus result in wines with a distinct character. Torre de Palma's wines are appreciated both in Portugal and abroad. Thanks to their high ambitions and quality, we are delighted to collaborate with them.

Altitude 310 meters above sea level

Vineyards Organic (in conversion) and planted in 2012. Torre de Palma collaborates with WASP, the Wines of Alentejo Sustainable Program. Through this program, winemakers work together to preserve the Alentejo wine region, which is suffering from rural-to-urban migration, within the region. Additionally, the winemakers aim to operate as sustainably as possible.

Harvest Manual

Vinification The best plots provide the grapes for this wine. The harvest is done by hand. The grapes are transported to the cellar in small crates. They remain there for 24 hours in a cool room at 3°C. This is followed by a second selection. The grapes are gently pressed. The juice undergoes cold settling. Fermentation takes place in new French oak. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages for ten months in the same barrels. During this period, the wine undergoes bâtonnage for increased depth and structure.
